Roll at the Queen, buy an affordable ant, place it in an empty slot, collect its food and sell it for cash.
Your first colony, step by step
- Follow the opening tutorial.Use it to find the Queen, your colony slots and the collection and selling points.
- Roll, then check the purchase price.AllThingsHow reports that rolling is free, while buying the resulting ant costs cash. Keep enough cash to buy an ant you want.
- Place your ant.Put it into an available colony slot to start production.
- Collect and sell the food.Pick up produced food at the collection point, then take it to the Sell station for cash.
- Pick one next purchase.Check what is slowing your current colony before spending on another ant or an upgrade.
For your first few cycles, watch the full route once before buying several things. This makes it easier to see where food appears, when you need to collect it and which menu changes your production.
PC controls
The published beginner guide lists WASD for movement, Space to jump and E to interact. On touch devices, follow the controls and prompts displayed in your session.
What should you upgrade first?
Choose an upgrade that addresses a problem you can see. The effects below come from the published beginner guide; the purchase checks are our suggested way to compare your options.
| Upgrade | Reported effect | A useful purchase check |
|---|---|---|
| Colony expansion | Adds ant capacity. | Are your slots full, and can you also afford another ant? |
| Food value | Raises food sale value. | Check the next level’s price against the cash you actually receive. |
| Ant speed | Speeds up production. | Watch whether food production is the part you are waiting on. |
| Egg luck | Improves ant-roll odds. | Leave a cash reserve to buy a result you want to keep. |
| Egg rolls | Increases Queen rolls. | Check whether you need more roll options or an upgrade to your working colony. |
There is no fixed best order established by this site. Compare one purchase at a time: note its displayed price, buy it if it fits your plan, then observe what changed. Avoid treating an unsourced income number or rarity label as proof of a particular return.
A short checklist before you spend
- Name the goal.More room, faster production and more roll choices solve different problems.
- Include the follow-up cost.A new slot is only useful to your immediate plan if you can fill it.
- Keep a reserve.Do not spend your entire balance on rolls or upgrades if your next useful ant needs cash.
- Read confirmation screens. Before replacing or giving up an ant, check exactly what the menu says you will lose.
Using codes alongside normal progression
If you want to try a reward code, check the current reported list and its source first. Our entries have not been redeemed by this site. A boost should support a plan you already understand; it should not be the only way you know how to earn cash.
